Store Manager

Kontz Engineering Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient management of store activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team leadership, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and driving sales. The Store Manager will also be instrumental in developing strategies to optimize store performance and achieving sales targets.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of store officers, ensuring optimal performance and fostering a positive work environment.
Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, order products, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability and minimize loss.
Customer Experience: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving customer complaints effectively.
Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Operational Compliance: Ensure that the store operates within company policies, health and safety regulations, and financial guidelines.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, staff performance, inventory, and other operational metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
B.Sc, B.A or HND in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum of Five (5) years working experience in retail management or similar roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in using retail management software and tools.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED SKILL SET:
Proficiency in the use of Inventory software.
Use of Microsoft office suite with a minimum basic knowledge in Excel.
Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain processes.
Experience in managing retail teams and achieving sales targets.
