Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell plantain chips to retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets, and other potential clients.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to grow the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
Conduct regular sales visits to customers and potential clients.
Provide product samples and educate clients about the quality and uniqueness of the plantain chips.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with customers.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of industry developments.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance data to management.
Collaborate with the production and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or snack food industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Good understanding of the sales process and customer needs.
Ability to analyze market trends and use data to make informed decisions.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
Basic computer literacy for maintaining records and preparing reports.
