Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cash Van Sales Representative with a strong background in FMCG retail sales. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and a valid driving license. The Cash Van Sales Representative will be responsible for managing a van-based retail operation, driving sales, building relationships with clients, and ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and effectively to customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive sales by selling a range of FMCG products directly to customers via a company van, managing daily transactions and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with products and services.
• Organize and plan daily delivery routes, ensuring timely deliveries and proper stock management in line with customer orders.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure products are properly stocked, and provide accurate stock reports. Manage and track inventory to minimize wastage or stockouts.
• Collect payments for products sold, issue receipts, and manage cash transactions securely and accurately. Ensure adherence to cash-handling procedures.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the products being sold, ensuring customers are informed about new products, promotions, and any relevant updates.
• Gather and relay customer feedback, competitor insights, and market trends to the sales team and management to inform business strategy.
• Complete daily reports on sales, deliveries, and customer issues, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with the office.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards during operations, including driving and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills
• At least 5 years of experience in FMCG retail sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
• A valid, clean driving license.
• Strong understanding of FMCG products, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with customers and team members effectively.
• Strong time management, route planning, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in using mobile sales apps, POS systems, and basic computer applications (Excel, Word).
• Ability to lift and carry products and work in a physically demanding role.
