Job Description (Summary):
As a Business Development Manager (HR Consulting), you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing business opportunities, forging partnerships, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company’s presence in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. Your role is critical in achieving Blakskill Limited’s growth objectives and establishing its position as a leader in HR tech consulting.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with existing and potential clients to support the company’s growth goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders for strategic collaborations.
Drive sales and develop strategies to achieve revenue growth through client acquisition and retention.
Design and implement competitive pricing models tailored to client needs while ensuring profitability.
Conduct in-depth market research for Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new market opportunities.
Analyze market data to make informed decisions and strategically position the company for growth.
Develop and execute expansion strategies aligned with the company’s quarterly and yearly goals.
Create detailed workflows and actionable plans to achieve target expansions.
Plan and execute market entry strategies into new geographic regions within Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Evaluate market potential, engage brand ambassadors, and conduct market assessments to ensure successful expansion.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with market expansion, including regulatory, financial, and operational challenges.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Evaluate team performance and provide training and support to enhance productivity.
Create and maintain an efficient and up-to-date database of partners and clients in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Enhance and sustain the company’s brand presence and recognition across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s mission, values, and unique selling propositions to boost brand visibility.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience selling HR services.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or market expansion, preferably within the tech or HR industry.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian and Sub-Saharan African markets.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
