Job Description
Location: Sokoto
Salary: ₦120,000 net + HMO
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in cash handling, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries effectively.
Job Responsibilities
• Welcome customers warmly and address their inquiries.
• Assist customers in locating items and provide advice or product recommendations.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and related electronic systems.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Issue accurate receipts to customers and ensure proper recording in the organization's database.
• Reconcile the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Report any discrepancies detected in transactions and escalate issues with equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation of refunds and exchanges in line with company policies.
• Accurately capture all patient or customer information during registration.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems, cash registers, and other related electronics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
