Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Field Supervisor to oversee and coordinate an enumeration exercise as part of our ongoing project in Ibadan. This is a 3-6 month contract position ideal for candidates with field supervision experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate a team of enumerators during field data collection activities.
Ensure accurate and consistent data collection by field teams following project guidelines.
Conduct training sessions and briefings for enumerators to prepare them for fieldwork.
Monitor daily progress, resolve issues in the field, and ensure adherence to schedules.
Perform quality control checks on collected data to maintain accuracy and reliability.
Report progress, challenges, and outcomes to project managers on a regular basis.
Maintain detailed records of field activities, team performance, and challenges encountered.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of field supervision experience, preferably in enumeration or data collection projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in data collection tools and mobile apps
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work in outdoor environments.
Experience managing field teams in remote or urban areas.
