Job Description

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Financial Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA) is preferred, Candidates without these are encouraged to apply.
Proven experience as a financial accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial management softwares and MS Office (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
