Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality operations, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
Maintain accurate records of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and restaurant assets.
Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and physical inventory counts.
Monitor stock usage, prevent wastage, and implement cost control measures.
Ensure timely procurement of required supplies while avoiding overstocking or shortages.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.
Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to understand stock requirements.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of perishable and non-perishable goods.
Prepare detailed inventory reports and submit them to management for review.
Implement inventory management software and digital tracking systems to enhance efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
At least 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong understanding of inventory control procedures, procurement, and stock management.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
Strong Excel Skill
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
Knowledge of food safety standards, storage regulations, and cost control principles is a plus.
