Job Description
The Accountant/Admin will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Duties:
o Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
o Manage accounts payable and receivable.
o Process payroll and ensure timely payment of staff salaries.
o Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with government regulations.
o Monitor budgets and provide financial reports to management.
o Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
2. Administrative Duties:
o Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
o Manage company correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
o Maintain and organize company files, records, and documentation.
o Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
o Assist in procurement and inventory management.
o Provide general administrative support to the team.
Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification:
o OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience:
o Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
o Experience in the agriculture or real estate sector is a plus.
3. Skills:
o Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho book, QuickBooks, Sage, Wave or similar).
o Strong knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations.
o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
o Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Salary and Benefits:
• Base Salary: N120,000 – N150,000 (negotiable based on experience).
• Other Benefits: Health insurance and performance-based bonuses.
