Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on construction management, project planning, and site supervision.
- Teach students about industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations related to interior design projects.
- Guide students in understanding construction materials, sustainable building practices, and cost estimation.
- Utilize real-world case studies, simulations, and project-based learning to enhance student engagement.
- Assess student progress through assignments, presentations, and hands-on projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate the latest technology and construction methods into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to organize guest lectures, site visits, and networking opportunities for students.
- Support students with career advice and mentorship to help them transition into the industry.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, LEED, or similar certifications) is a plus.
* Further specialization in sustainable construction or construction safety management is an asset.
Experience:
* 3-10 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, managing projects, site supervision, or related roles.
* Experience in construction project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
* Proven ability to manage teams and work with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Professional Credentials:
* Registered or licensed Project Manager or Construction Manager (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM)).
* Familiarity with industry regulations, including OSHA, building codes, and construction law.
