Job Description
Location: Lagos Island
Work Mode: Onsite.
Salary: 800,000 -1 million naira.
Responsibilities:
1. *Financial Risk Management:* Monitor and manage the organization's financial risks, including interest rate, credit, and liquidity risks. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure the stability and profitability of the organization as it transitions to public sector dealings.
2. *Capital Structure and Funding Strategies:* Evaluate and optimize the organization’s capital structure to support growth initiatives. Identifying and securing financing options, structuring debt and equity offerings, and engaging with public financing opportunities, such as bonds or government grants, to support the expansion into the public sector.
3. *Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:* Ensure that all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, particularly those that pertain to public sector financing. Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies, as well as staying updated on changes in financial legislation that may affect the organization's operations in the public realm.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Treasurer in the banking sector or a financial institution.
