Logistic Driver

The Logistics Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves loading and unloading cargo, following delivery schedules, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
- **Transport Goods**: Drive trucks or vans to deliver products to clients or distribution centers.
- **Loading and Unloading**: Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured and accounted for.
- **Route Planning**: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
- **Customer Interaction**: Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications
- **Education**: High school diploma, equivalent or Advanced Certificates.

- **Experience**: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in logistics preferred.
- **Licenses**: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) as required by the state.
- **Skills**:
- Strong driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and driving.

Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor work with varying weather conditions.
- May require early morning or late-night shifts depending on delivery schedules.
