Job Description
Location: Ikosi Ketu, Lagos
Salary: ₦70,000 per month
Job Summary
A reputable furniture manufacturing company is seeking hardworking and reliable Factory Assistants/Labourers to support daily production activities. The ideal candidates will assist in material handling, machine operation, assembling furniture, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing furniture pieces.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
Operate basic woodworking tools and machines under supervision.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Move materials within the factory as needed.
Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Assist skilled workers such as carpenters and machine operators.
Perform general factory duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a furniture or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long hours.
Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
