Job Description
Industry: Event Management
Salary :400,000
Location:Lekki
Responsibilities:
•Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of various events from conception to completion.
•Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
•Oversee venue selection, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
Client Relationship Management:
•Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their vision and objectives.
•Provide exceptional client service, managing expectations and delivering results that exceed client satisfaction.
Conduct post-event evaluations and provide insights for future improvements.
Team Leadership:
•Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity and innovative solutions.
Budgeting & Financial Management:
•Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Monitor expenses and track financial performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
•Assist in the development of event branding and promotional materials.
Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistical details are executed as planned
•Manage on-site staff and volunteers, providing direction and support during events.
•Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address
•challenges that may arise before or during events.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event planning and management, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
•Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Proficient in event management software and tools
•Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
