Job Description (Summary)
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategizing and implementing marketing initiatives that increase revenue, enhance market share, and boost customer engagement. The role includes market analysis, pricing strategy development, and collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Develop marketing plans to increase revenue, market share, and brand awareness.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and trends.
• Create advertising campaigns that build brand awareness and drive sales.
Pricing & Business Opportunities
• Collaborate with Category Managers to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Research new technologies, markets, and competitors to identify business opportunities.
Local Store Marketing & Events
• Drive traffic and sales through initiatives like social media, digital marketing, in-store events, and grassroots marketing.
• Oversee the company’s attendance at trade shows and conferences to maximize visibility.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, improve traffic, and increase sales.
• Work with store managers to optimize retail operations and address challenges.
Compliance & Visual Branding
• Ensure promotional materials meet brand standards for accuracy and compliance.
• Create store environments that attract customers with visual appeal and convenience.
Working Relationships
• Internal: Collaborate with Category Managers, Store Managers, and Marketing Professionals.
• External: Engage with trade partners, event organizers, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing management or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in the FMCG/Retail industry within the marketing field.
• Experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
