Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Engineer with expertise in solar and renewable energy to drive sales, develop client relationships, and provide technical solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, a passion for sustainable energy, and the ability to translate technical product knowledge into effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
Provide technical support and solutions to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits of solar products.
Conduct site assessments and recommend appropriate solar energy solutions.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities.
Meet and exceed sales targets, with opportunities for incentives and bonuses.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales within the solar/renewable energy industry.
Strong technical knowledge of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy) or a related field.
Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
