Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural systems for various projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions.

Responsibilities
1. Structural Analysis & Design:
* Perform structural calculations and simulations for Industrial, Residential & Commercial buildings and other infrastructure projects.
* Design steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in compliance with applicable codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, and other International Codes).
* Develop structural models using software like ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar.
* Use mathematical and scientific principles to analyze structures and determine their ability to withstand pressures and loads. This involves complex calculations and simulations to predict how different materials perform under various conditions.
2. Collaboration & Coordination:
* Working closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that structural designs integrate seamlessly with the overall design of the building or infrastructure project.
* Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design specifications.
3. Inspecting and Assessing Structures:
* Conduct site inspections to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:

* Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
* ⁠Minimum 10 years of experience in managing design aspects of large-scale projects.
* Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
* COREN Certification.
* Strong understanding of construction materials, geotechnical principles, and seismic designs
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
