Job Description

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure the company's interests are protected.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on various matters, including property and real estate laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Conduct legal research and ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in resolving disputes and managing litigation cases effectively.
• Maintain an updated repository of legal documents and contracts.
• Provide training or briefings to staff on legal matters as required.
• Support the legal team with administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of post-call experience (experience in the real estate, corporate or commercial law space will be an advantage)
• Membership in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is mandatory.
• Excellent understanding of Nigerian legal frameworks, especially in real estate and corporate law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
