Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and culturally intuitive Senior Digital Marketing Manager who can seamlessly integrate with their team and manage campaigns using Braze.com. The ideal candidate will build end-to-end marketing strategies and assets that drive community engagement, customer acquisition, and monetization across channels.

They're on a mission to use technology to empower Black food communities through exposure, celebration, and access to resources. With over 230,000 subscribers and 20,000 owner-operator contacts, they’re growing quickly and looking for a skilled senior digital marketing manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Braze Platform Management

Create and manage user segments based on behavior, location, and preferences

Build, test, and deploy email newsletters, product announcements, and special campaigns

Design and implement push notifications and in-app pop-up messages

Independently create and manage emails using content blocks and custom HTML/CSS when necessary

Set up journeys and automations that are optimized for conversion and retention

Channel-Specific Campaigns

Plan and manage paid ad campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Develop LinkedIn newsletters to target professional and B2B audiences (restaurant owners, investors, partners)

Align ad creatives and copy with the company’s voice and mission

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the internal team of designers, writers, and community managers

Contribute to cross-channel campaign planning, especially during key moments like Black History Month, Juneteenth, or Taste of Culture campaigns

Participate in team meetings and provide performance insights to optimize campaigns

Voice, Tone & Culture Fit

Communicate in a voice that is authentic, uplifting, culturally aware, and community-driven

Show a natural interest in food, community stories, and culture, especially within the Black diaspora

Ensure every message reinforces the company’s values and deepens connection with both diners and restaurant owners

Working Conditions Details;
Work Environment: This is a fully remote position.
Working Hours: 10 hours per week (40 hours monthly).
