Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals.
o Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers.
o Prepare and manage requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.
o Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
o Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
o Manage supplier relationships and performance.
o Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
o Monitor stock levels and reorder as needed.
o Implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize costs and wastage.
o Plan and coordinate transportation and shipping arrangements.
o Manage logistics processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
o Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
o Monitor procurement and logistics costs and identify opportunities for savings.
o Implement cost-saving measures and negotiate favorable pricing.
o Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
o Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
