Job Description

Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Lekki Phase 1
Work mode: Hybrid
Renumeration: 350k-400k
Candidates should reside on the island and its environs

Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization. The individual will work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic objectives. The Operations Manager will collaborate with editorial, production, marketing and finance teams to streamline processes, allocate resources and implement strategies that improve productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the CEO and executives to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision and mission.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure coordination among departments, including content production, marketing, distribution, finance and technology.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with the accountant, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and implement corrective measures to achieve financial targets.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and creativity.
• Work with the CEO and executive team to define and implement the company’s strategic objectives.
• Assess market trends, industry developments and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Align content creation processes with production schedules and distribution strategies.
• Streamline processes to enhance productivity across departments.
• Continuously seek ways to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, copyright laws and ethical standards.
• Develop crisis management protocols to ensure business continuity.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to negotiate contracts and agreements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in leadership roles in the Media Industry
• Experience in the media industry with a solid understanding of content creation, distribution and audience engagement is a must.
• Strong business acumen with a proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Exceptional leadership skills and experience building and managing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate trends and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and emerging technologies.
Salary:
₦350,000.00 Monthly
