Location: Lagos
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser with 1–2 years of experience to support our sales and retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product placement, stock monitoring, and maintaining brand visibility across retail outlets to drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective product display and visibility in retail outlets as per company standards.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Collect and report market intelligence including competitor activities, promotions, and pricing.
• Build and maintain good relationships with retail staff and store managers.
• Assist the sales team in achieving volume and distribution targets.
• Ensure timely placement of promotional materials and price tags.
• Submit accurate reports on daily activities, sales trends, and inventory status.
• Conduct regular visits to assigned outlets to ensure planogram compliance and stock hygiene.
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising or retail sales.
• Minimum of SSCE/OND/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of merchandising concepts and retail dynamics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be willing to travel within assigned territories.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and report writing is an added advantage.
