Job Description

The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that products are well-displayed, adequately stocked, and effectively promoted in retail outlets. This role bridges the gap between sales and in-store marketing, aiming to maximize product visibility and boost sales performance through strategic merchandising and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Visit retail stores regularly to ensure proper product placement, shelf arrangement, and stock availability.
Implement visual merchandising strategies and promotional displays in line with company standards.
Monitor and report on stock levels, ordering and replenishing products as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with store managers, staff, and customers to enhance brand visibility and sales opportunities.
Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions, providing timely feedback to the sales team.
Assist in executing sales campaigns and promotional activities in assigned territories.
Ensure all products are accurately tagged, priced, and compliant with display guidelines.
Submit regular reports on sales trends, stock status, and merchandising effectiveness.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a merchandiser or in retail sales is preferred.
Good understanding of product placement, visual merchandising, and retail operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to travel between store locations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus.
