Job Summary
WashStation is seeking reliable and dedicated Laundry Attendants to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for the proper washing and care of garments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality. This role is vital to our operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning method.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and related equipment efficiently.
Apply the correct washing detergents and stain removers based on garment type.
Monitor laundry processes to ensure quality and prevent damage to garments.
Fold and package clean laundry neatly for delivery or customer pick-up.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Report any equipment issues or garment damages promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a laundry or similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of laundry processes and fabric care.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Team player with good communication skills.
