Job Description
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options.
Clinical Expertise and Guidance:
Contribute your clinical expertise to patient care.
Verify complex diagnoses and facilitate treatment plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and consultants to optimize patient care.
Clinical Management:
Oversee the clinical operations within the hospital, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of medical services.
Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient care.
Participate in clinical rounds and case discussions.
Implement and monitor adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties and manage risk as required.
Assist in the development and review of hospital policies and procedures.
Collaborate closely with the Medical Services Department to ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Participate in regular compliance audits and quality assurance initiatives.
Proactively address any compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of hospital services.
Emergency Response:
Provide emergency medical care and stabilization to patients in critical conditions.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 medical coverage.
Quality Assurance:
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Conduct clinical audits and participate in peer review processes.
Address patient complaints and resolve clinical issues promptly.
Clinical Trials and Research:
Participate in clinical trials and contribute to medical research programs.
Stay informed about advancements in the field and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Professional Development:
Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Engage in research activities and contribute to medical literature, if applicable.
Patient Care and Compliance:
Ensure the highest standards in patient care are maintained.
Uphold compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
