Research-Monitoring-Evaluation (RME) Manager

Key Qualifications:

HND/B.Sc. in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Evaluation, or a related field, with a focus on research and evaluation methodologies.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in RME roles
Substantial leadership experience in a nonprofit or social impact organization would be an advantage.
Strong proficiency in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
Expertise in various RME frameworks and research methodologies.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership in developing and executing the organization’s RME strategy.
Design and implement comprehensive RME frameworks including performance measurement and research agendas.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for program outputs, outcomes, and impact.
Lead the management of data systems ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.
Utilize quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify insights and trends.
Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for program improvement.
Develop high-quality RME reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate research findings and program achievements effectively to various audiences.
Present RME insights to senior leadership to influence decision-making.
Strengthen the RME capacity of program staff and partners through training and support.
Foster a culture of learning and reflection within the organization.
Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of RME activities into program operations.
Lead the design and implementation of research initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
Oversee research methodologies, data collection, and ensure ethical standards are maintained.
Disseminate research findings through reports, presentations, and publications.
Lead impact evaluations and assessments to measure program effectiveness.
Explore innovative RME approaches and technologies to enhance research capabilities.
Ensure ethical considerations are central to all research and evaluation activities.
