Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with strong engineering design capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial and process facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed engineering design deliverables including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, P&IDs, instrument index, and cable schedules.
Design and specify electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and motor control centers (MCC).
Select and specify instrumentation and control equipment for pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurements.
Prepare technical documentation such as datasheets, bill of materials (BOM), and calculation reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, API, ISA, IEEE).
Interface with process, mechanical, and civil teams for integrated design solutions.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment selection and procurement.
Provide support during construction, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Perform risk assessments and participate in safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP, SIL).
Assist in the preparation of project estimates, schedules, and progress reports.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in engineering design within oil & gas, chemical, or industrial sectors.
Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, SPI (INtools), ETAP, or similar.
Knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) and field instrumentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
