Job Description

The Estate/Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and overall management of residential or commercial properties. This includes supervising staff, managing vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards, and maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of the estate or facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations and upkeep of the estate/facility, including buildings, equipment, grounds, and utilities.
Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and security staff, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism.
Schedule and coordinate repairs, renovations, and regular inspections to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
Manage budgets for maintenance, supplies, and operational expenses; monitor costs and identify areas for savings.
Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors to negotiate and manage service agreements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Monitor building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and arrange preventive maintenance as needed.
Handle tenant or resident requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure proper usage and storage.
Prepare reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and budget performance.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estate Manager, Facility Manager, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, property maintenance, and contractor management.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Degree or certification in Facility Management, Engineering, Property Management, or a related field is a plus.
