TikTok Social Media Manager Volunteer

We’re looking for a creative, and highly motivated Social Media Manager Volunteer to take ownership of our TikTok platform. You'll be responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies that amplify our brand voice, build community, drive awareness, and spark meaningful conversations, especially around mental health, youth empowerment, and social change.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
Develop and implement platform-specific content strategies for TikTok and Facebook

Create and schedule high-impact video and visual content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Lives, etc.)

Monitor trends, memes, and challenges to keep content fresh and relevant

Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and the communications team
Community Engagement
Moderate groups and conversations, ensuring a safe and inclusive space
Collaborate with mental health advocates, influencers, and user-generated content contributors
Analytics & Optimization
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like reach, engagement, and conversion
Analyze insights to iterate and optimize content for better performance
Prepare weekly/monthly reports with recommendations
Campaign Management
Plan and execute campaigns (e.g., Mental Health Awareness Month, fundraisers, product launches)

Run paid ads on Facebook and boost strategic posts when required

Strong understanding of content trends, video editing (CapCut, Canva, InShot), and analytics tools (Meta Suite, TikTok Analytics)
Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and communication skills
Passion for social impact, mental health, and youth-centered advocacy
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Bonus: Experience in the nonprofit, tech-for-good, or youth sector
