Job Description
HND/BSc in any relevant field.
Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience as a Graphics Designer, preferably in mission-driven or nonprofit organizations.
High proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Canva.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work, including campaigns for awareness, advocacy, education, and community engagement.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to create visually compelling, error-free designs.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present and explain creative concepts clearly.
Solid understanding of visual storytelling and branding in the context of social impact and community-focused work.
Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design impactful visual content for both digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, infographics, newsletters, educational materials, event branding, and fundraising campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Programs, Communications, and Development to translate ideas into engaging visuals that reflect the organization’s mission and values.
Uphold and evolve the organization’s brand identity across all visual touchpoints.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a consistent standard of excellence.
Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder input, ensuring effectiveness and resonance with diverse audiences.
Stay updated on design trends and tools, integrating best practices in accessibility, inclusivity, and ethical storytelling.
Contribute to strategic discussions on brand development, campaign planning, and community engagement through design.
