Job Description

The Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious, and customised meals for individuals or families in a private household. This role involves meal planning, grocery shopping, kitchen organization, and maintaining hygiene standards, while catering to the dietary needs and preferences of the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily meals based on employer preferences, dietary requirements, and health goals
Shop for groceries and manage kitchen inventory
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Create menus for special occasions or events hosted by the household
Ensure safe food handling, storage, and preparation practices
Accommodate food allergies, restrictions, or cultural food preferences
Occasionally prepare meals for guests or private events
Provide feedback on kitchen needs and restock supplies as necessary
