About the Family:
We are a warm, friendly family seeking a loving, professional, and dedicated Governess/Nanny to care for our two school-age children. We are looking for someone who is passionate about child development and can provide a nurturing and stable environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to balance providing care with educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and care for two school-age children.
Ensure the children’s daily routines are maintained, including school drop-offs/pick-ups, meal preparation, and bedtime routines.
Assist with homework, encourage learning activities, and support academic development.
Foster a positive and engaging environment to help the children grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
Plan and organize age-appropriate activities to encourage creativity and curiosity.
Maintain open communication with the parents regarding the children’s progress, behavior, and general well-being.
Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
Provide light housekeeping related to the children's needs (e.g., tidying up play areas, organizing their belongings).
Support children in developing good habits, such as hygiene, responsibility, and respect.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a governess, nanny, or in a similar child-care role.
A warm, empathetic, and friendly demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to form a close bond with the children while maintaining a professional relationship.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with children in a positive and motivating manner.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Stable, reliable, and consistent with a commitment to the family.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus).
A degree or certification in early childhood education or a related field is desirable but not required.
