Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles, including job description development, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Oversee and enhance the new hire onboarding experience to ensure seamless integration into the company culture.
• Conduct pre-employment checks, including reference and background checks, as per company policy.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist in mediating conflicts and fostering effective communication.
• Support the implementation and administration of the company's performance management system, including performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
• Advise managers on effective performance feedback and development strategies.
• Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Law and industry best practices.
• Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and advise management on necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Identify training needs and assist in coordinating and delivering relevant training programs for employees and management.
• Support initiatives aimed at employee learning and career development.
• Assist with aspects of payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and compensation-related inquiries.
• Support annual salary reviews and compensation benchmarking activities.
• Prepare HR-related reports, analytics, and presentations as required.
• Manage HR administrative tasks efficiently, including leave management, attendance tracking, and general HR documentation.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Officer or similar generalist role.
CIPM or other recognized certification is compulsory
• Proven understanding and practical application of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
Salary:
₦250,000.00 Monthly
