Job Description
Bachelor’s Degree B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry
Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Ability to analyze market data, consumer trends, and performance metrics.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure marketing and brand plans meet revenue and Added Value (AV) objectives.
Identify target markets and monitor their evolving needs, behaviors, expectations, and perceptions.
Position and communicate products to the right target audience across multiple channels.
Monitor the execution of all marketing activities and track performance against objectives.
Gather insights to support the introduction and communication of new product categories.
Develop compliant and differentiated product designs with clear added value.
Launch new products in line with approved commercialization plans to ensure market success.
Execute growth drivers and collect consumer feedback on all new solutions.
Conduct ongoing marketing research for both existing and potential products.
Perform weekly environmental scans to analyze competitor dynamics, vulnerabilities, and opportunities.
Implement strategic and tactical plans based on competitive intelligence.
Build brand availability, preference, and conversion through various consumer touchpoints.
Execute upselling strategies, including promotions and brand activation initiatives.
Ensure proper registration of new products and intellectual property with relevant regulatory bodies.
Manage renewal of product licenses (NAFDAC, SON/MANCAP, etc.) to ensure regulatory compliance.
Address regulatory, IP, and consumer complaint issues effectively.
Handle customer-related issues and build long-term, sustainable relationships.
Collaborate with Processing, QA, Logistics, Warehousing, and Accounts to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
