Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage the restaurant’s inventory, supplies, and storage areas. The successful candidate will ensure that all stock items are accurately recorded, properly stored, and efficiently distributed to the kitchen and other departments as needed. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock deliveries.
Organize and maintain inventory in storage areas to ensure easy accessibility.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
Conduct regular stock audits and update inventory records accurately.
Ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items according to safety standards.
Coordinate with kitchen and procurement teams to forecast and replenish supplies timely.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store room and storage areas.
Follow company policies on stock handling, security, and safety.
Assist in minimizing waste and controlling stock losses.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a store keeping, inventory management, or related role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related field is an advantage.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
Ability to work flexible shifts if required.
