About the Role
Peepuu is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Founding Team) to join their pan-African HR tech startup. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience and thrive in fast-paced, startup environments.

Responsibilities
Own all frontend development using React or Next.js
Translate Figma designs into fast, responsive, and accessible UIs
Build component architecture, route handling, and dynamic states
Optimize UX performance (Core Web Vitals, load time, layout shift)
Integrate seamlessly with Laravel backend APIs and auth (Laravel Passport)
Create and maintain testing flows (unit, snapshot, QA support)
Document features and decisions with clarity
Collaborate closely with backend engineer and designer to deliver full features
Shape how our frontend codebase scales as new engineers join
Contribute ideas during roadmap and execution planning
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional frontend experience and a strong background in React or Next.js. They should be self-directed, collaborative, and have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
