Job Description
Location: Kano, Nigeria
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Head of Collections to lead our collections team in Kano. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collections strategies to minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and enhance customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collections Strategy: Develop and execute collections strategies to achieve organizational goals.
2. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of collections professionals.
3. Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, negotiate payment plans, and resolve disputes.
4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential credit risks.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular collections performance reports and analysis.
Requirements:
1. 1 - 3 years in collections or credit management.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
4. Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and industry standards.
