Job Description
We’re working with a dynamic oil & gas operator seeking a Deputy Company Appointed Representative (DCAR) to support and drive daily production and maintenance operations on a high-performing FPSO. If you’re an experienced operations professional with a passion for asset integrity, equipment optimization, and regulatory compliance, this is your opportunity to play a key leadership role in a mission-critical offshore environment.
What You'll Do
Production Operations & Optimization
Monitor and supervise daily production operations to ensure optimal performance
Identify, initiate, and support execution of process optimization initiatives
Drive initiatives to ensure optimum performance of process and utility equipment systems
Lead efforts to maximize wells and equipment uptime across FPSO operations
Well Testing & Maintenance Supervision
Supervise routine and MER well testing as specified by Petroleum Engineering teams
Oversee maintenance and installation activities on the FPSO
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure optimal well performance and reliability
Support equipment troubleshooting and performance enhancement initiatives
Regulatory Support & Operations Management
Assist FPSO CAR with NUPRC and regulatory body related issues and compliance
Disseminate operational developments and updates to all team members
Manage offshore fuel, chemicals, and spare parts inventory systems
Prepare comprehensive production operations reports and database management
Crisis Management & Vendor Coordination
Identify potential operational, equipment reliability, and asset integrity challenges
Implement proactive resolution strategies for operational challenges
Provide support for third-party vendor activities and coordination
Stand in as FPSO CAR/PIC during absence of substantive personnel
Safety & Asset Integrity
Maintain safe operations within company policies and ensure zero incident performance
Drive safety culture and compliance across all operational activities
Support asset integrity programs and equipment reliability initiatives
Perform additional tasks as assigned by asset leadership

Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or related engineering discipline from reputable institution
Minimum Second Class Upper grade (Second Class Lower considered with advanced degrees - MSc, MBA)
5-7 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry experience
What You Bring
Valid BOSIET/HUET training certification required
Good experience in wellhead maintenance and operations and readiness for offshore deployment
Background or understanding of LACT unit and cargo operations
Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent understanding of oil and gas industry standards and practices
Strong technical and analytical problem-solving capabilities
