Job Description

Job Summary:
Our organization is the leading Nigeria natural crumb rubber manufacturing and exporting company located in Delta state. We are seeking for a detail-oriented and proactive Dryer Operator to join our production team. The Dryer Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining rubber drying equipment to ensure efficient processing and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of production machinery (oven), a commitment to safety, and a willingness to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor rubber drying equipment (tray, rotary, or tunnel dryers).
• Load and unload rubber sheets or granules into drying machines.
• Adjust dryer settings such as temperature, drying time, and airflow based on product specifications.
• Inspect raw and dried rubber for moisture content and quality compliance.
• Record production data and maintain accurate drying logs.
• Clean and maintain drying equipment and ensure a safe, hygienic work environment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with other production units to maintain smooth workflow.
• Assist in routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of dryers.
• Perform routine checks, identify potential problems, and perform minor maintenance tasks like lubrication.

Requirements:
• Minimum of SSCE/OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial discipline or relevant technical certification.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (rubber industry preferred).
• Basic knowledge of industrial dryer operation and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in hot, humid conditions.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shift hours, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Identifying the root cause of operational problems and implementing solutions is a key skill.

• Understanding of production flow and quality control principles.
Salary:
