Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and components used in construction equipment, building systems, and other infrastructure projects. This role requires strong knowledge of mechanical design, electrical systems, and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop integrated electro-mechanical systems for construction and infrastructure applications.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Conduct testing, diagnostics, and performance analysis of systems and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technicians, and contractors.
Ensure systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Participate in prototyping, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and post-installation.
Recommend design modifications and improvements for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of designs, changes, and test results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical systems (construction or industrial experience preferred).
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Working knowledge of electrical schematics, PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
[Optional] Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with construction equipment or building automation systems.
Experience in energy-efficient or sustainable design practices.
Project management or site supervision experience is a plus.
