Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, educated, and dedicated Female House Manager to oversee the operations of a private residential home. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in this same capacity within a private home, managing both the household and its staff efficiently and professionally.

This role demands a proactive, trustworthy individual with strong leadership qualities, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural ability to coordinate people and processes to ensure a smooth-running home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Oversight:
Manage the daily operations of the household, ensuring everything runs efficiently, cleanly, and according to high standards.

Staff Supervision:
Supervise all household staff including cleaners, cooks, drivers, nannies, and other support personnel; handle scheduling, discipline, and performance evaluation.

Task Planning & Coordination:
Organize and implement work schedules, daily routines, family needs, and special requests from the homeowner.

Vendor Liaison:
Coordinate and supervise external contractors or vendors for maintenance, repairs, deliveries, or installations.

Inventory & Supplies Management:
Monitor and restock household supplies, groceries, and essentials while keeping track of inventory and avoiding waste.

Budget & Expense Tracking:
Manage household budget, petty cash, and prepare expense reports for the employer.

Hospitality & Events:
Prepare for and coordinate visits from guests, family events, or gatherings, ensuring hospitality standards are met.

Confidentiality:
Maintain the highest level of discretion, trust, and respect for the privacy of the family.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Mandatory Experience:
Must have prior experience working as a house manager (or in a similar supervisory role) in a private residential home. Applicants without this background will not be considered.

Education:
Minimum of HND or Bachelor's degree. Additional training in hospitality, personnel management, or home administration is a plus.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Excellent leadership and communication skills

High emotional intelligence and discretion

Strong multitasking and organizational ability

Reliable, respectful, and solution-oriented

Ability to manage a team and work under pressure

Proficiency in basic digital tools (e.g., scheduling apps, budgeting spreadsheets)

Additional Requirements:

Female candidate as per household preference

Neat, courteous, and professionally presented

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary
