Job Description
We are recruiting for a warm, attentive, and responsible Child Carer to join our early years team. The ideal candidate will support the physical, emotional, and social development of young children (typically aged 0–5 years) in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.
Requirements:
• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or a diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience caring for children in a school, crèche, daycare, or similar environment.
• Experience with children aged 0–5 years is preferred
• Candidate must reside around Oluyole and its environs.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, child nutrition, and safety practices.
• Physically able to move around actively and support children as needed
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional in appearance and conduct
Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive care, supervision, and support to children throughout the school day.
• Assist with feeding, and hygiene routines as needed.
• Create a safe and clean environment that promotes play and exploration.
• Support teachers during class activities, storytelling, singing, and outdoor play.
• Monitor children’s behavior and report any concerns to the class teacher or school head.
• Participate in school events when required.
