Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Accountant to support our team in a leading engineering and project management company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the activities of the finance and account unit.
• Manage financial audits and tax compliance.
• Work with management to raise and manage funds for project execution.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity for effective project execution.
• Ensure accuracy of records and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Develop and manage annual budgeting, forecasting processes, and compliance.
• Monitor financial performance and analyze variances in budget.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Provide financial guidance to the management for informed decision-making.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication (speaking, listening, and writing)
• Excellent planning and highly organized.
• A self-starter, MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITHOUT SUPERVISION
• Proficient with MS Office applications – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Good understanding and experience with systems of control
• Strong analytical skills include the ability to spot, assess, and address risk, materiality, and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for financial reporting and recommendations for improvement
• Adaptable to working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Striving for continuous improvement and optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• BSc in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or ICAN compulsory.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant industry experience
• Not more than 35 years of age.
