Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons, managing a classroom effectively, and fostering a positive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.
Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's behavior policy.
Assess and monitor pupils’ progress through tests, assignments, and reports.
Provide regular feedback to parents and guardians on pupil performance.
Participate in school meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
Encourage pupil participation, curiosity, and creativity.
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum and school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of NCE or B.Ed. in Education or a relevant field.
TRCN certification is an added advantage.
At least 1–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
Sound knowledge of the Nigerian Primary School Curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Passionate about child development and education.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and other teaching tools.
