Job Description
A Sales Canvasser is responsible for generating leads and boosting sales by reaching out directly to potential customers, often through door-to-door visits, field marketing, street activation, or cold calling. The role involves face-to-face interaction, persuasion, and detailed product knowledge to convince prospects to buy or take action.
Key Responsibilities:
Approach potential customers in assigned areas (door-to-door, streets, events)
Present, promote, and explain products or services effectively
Distribute flyers, brochures, or samples as needed
Generate leads, take customer information, and follow up on prospects
Answer customer questions and handle objections professionally
Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets
Record feedback and report canvassing results to supervisors
Represent the company professionally in appearance and conduct
Assist in organizing promotional events or activation
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve strategies
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or field marketing is a plus
Skills:
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence and persuasive ability
Goal-driven and self-motivated
Ability to work under pressure and rejection
Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
Working Conditions:
Outdoor field work (door-to-door, market activation, road shows)
Flexible or shift-based schedule, including weekends or evenings
Travel within assigned locations or regions
