Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lawyer to provide legal advice, represent clients, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a deep understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Handle legal matters related to land sales to ensure transactions comply with laws and regulations.
Be familiar with Nigerian land sale procedures and relevant policies, guiding the company in land documentation processes.
Coordinate communication and liaison with the Land Management Bureau, government departments and key personnel.
Review and draft land sale contracts and legal documents to prevent legal risks.
Provide legal consultation and resolve issues arising during land sale transactions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Male with Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) and completion of Law School; Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum of 2–5 years of post-qualification legal experience (depending on role level).
Extensive practical experience in land law, candidates with government connections and resources are preferred.
Strong communications, coordination and negotiation skills.
Having a private car is preferred to facilitate fieldwork and visits to relevant departments.
Highly responsible, dedicated and able to work under pressure.
