Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will assist the Finance team in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end/year-end closing activities. The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in preparing invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, pension, etc.).
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
