Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchase, and expenses.
• Monitor and follow the trail of each order to ensure accurate processing and delivery.
• Assist in the preparation pf budget and monitoring financial performance against the budget.
• Tracking inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and coordinating with the logistics manager to manage stock effectively.
• Managing employee payroll by making sure salaries are paid on time, calculating taxes and benefit and ensuring timely payment
• Preparing and filling tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and keeping up to date with changes in tax laws.
• Preparing financial statements such as profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements for management review.
• Managing the payment of suppliers and the collection of payments from customers, ensuring timely settlements
• Utilizing accounting software’s to manage financial data and ensuring it is up to date and secure
• Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs
REQUIREMENTS
•Bsc/HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
•Minimum of 1-2 years proven experience as a finance/Admin Officer.
•Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to details.
•In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices and regulatory framework
