Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate our cargo and goods delivery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, delivered on time, and meet customer expectations, while optimizing routes, controlling costs, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods and cargo.
Manage day-to-day logistics operations including scheduling, dispatch, and tracking shipments.
Develop efficient delivery routes and ensure timely delivery to customers.
Supervise and manage the logistics team, including drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and fleet operations.
Negotiate with suppliers, transport partners, and vendors to secure cost-effective services.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety policies, and legal requirements.
Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance analysis for management.
Train and mentor staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in logistics or transportation management, preferably in cargo or delivery services.
Strong knowledge of fleet management, route planning, and cargo handling.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with logistics management software and tracking systems.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
Work Conditions
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with the possibility of extended hours due to the nature of the business).
