A Christian Ministry in Lagos is looking for a Video Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the Ministry’s mission and drives audience engagement across digital platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring that all video content is consistent in branding, delivered on time, and optimized for maximum reach and impact

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Announcements & Promotional Content
i. Produce and deliver weekly video announcements for internal and external communication.
ii. Create weekly service invite videos and promotional content for all services and special programs.
2. Sermon Snippets & Social Media Content
i. Select, edit, and package sermon highlights for use on social media platforms and YouTube, ensuring content is engaging, concise, and aligned with the Ministry’s brand.
3. Video Production & Editing
i. Lead the editing and production of video ads for services and special events.
ii. Produce weekly electronic video announcements and content for scheduled TV broadcast episodes.
iii. Develop motion graphic materials for the Resource center, e-store, and outreach platforms.
4. Creative Direction & Supervision
i. Collaborate with the activities of the media team to ensure consistent quality and output.
ii. Contribute to content ideation and development, such as the Conversations series. iii. Mentor junior editors and team members, guiding them to produce brand-consistent, high-quality work.
And any other task assigned.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio .
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
3. Proficiency in motion graphics and animation (After Effects knowledge is a plus).
4. Strong videography/cinematography skills.
5. Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual style.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines.
